HWCH line up

The day line of the Hard Working Class Heroes festival has been announced and Oliver Cole will headline the Dame Lane venue on the Saturday 13th, onstage from 10.55-11.30.

The bio on the HWCH website unfortunatly says that Oliver’s album will be released next year.

Oliver Cole and Concerto For Constantine will also play at the Wilde On gig as part of the Dublin Fringe Festival on Wednesday 17th in The Spiegeltent.

The event is described as “leading Irish musical and visual artists alongside Wilde aficionados presenting new, unheard and unseen work for a specially conceived, multimedia celebration of Oscar Wilde.”

CFC gigs and single

A new blog post on Concerto For Constantine’s Myspace confirms some pre-Oxegen gigs in Letterkenny and Belfast.

It also mentions that the band are to record a single next week, which presumably should be released, to radio at least, in July around the time of Oxegen.

IMRO showcase

Oliver Cole will play his first solo gig of the year at one of the IMRO showcase gigs in the Sugar Club on Friday 18th of April. Also playing at an IMRO showcase are Concerto for Constantine, featuring Gavin Fox, who play the same venue the week before, Friday 11th April. Concerto for Constantine will also play Whelan’s on Tuesday 15th, their biggest headline gig so far in their short career.

Ollie’s solo album ‘We Albatri’ is expected to be released in the summer.
